Fernando Mendoza LinkedIn commercial, post go viral

It must be a busy night for Fernando Mendoza, but somehow he still found time to update his LinkedIn account.

Yeah, that’s right.

During a commercial disguised as an interview, Mendoza held up his phone that revealed the following post: “It’s official. Grateful for the opportunity and ready to get to work!”

The Las Vegas Raiders, who selected him first overall in the NFL draft, are not yet listed under "Experience,'' but maybe it's premature for that.

His account quickly started piling up with replies. Near the top of the list: Derek Carr, the Raiders' former starting quarterback.

Not everybody was focused on football.

Wrote Arman Marchiel, “Absolutely flabbergasted by your vocational accomplishments. Cheers.’’

There you have it, Raider Nation. Finally, a starting quarterback with vocational chops.

By the way, Mendoza acknowledged his new fan base, posting online a short video shouting out Raider Nation and that he was ready to work. And if he shows the same work ethic on the football field as he showed on social media, the Raiders are in good hands.

If you can’t reach Mendoza directly or through LinkedIn, his bio did include this: “For any inquiries, please contact me at [email protected].’’
