Anne Hathaway joked during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that Stanley Tucci was the biggest diva while filming The Devil Wears Prada 2

Tucci jokingly embraced the title while speaking with PEOPLE at the film's Monday, April 20, premiere in New York City

He cheekily told Taylen Biggs, who hosted PEOPLE's coverage of the event, that he's "just terrible"

Stanley Tucci is cheekily claiming the title of the "biggest diva" on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2.

During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Tucci's costar Anne Hathaway joked that he was the “diva” on the sequel's set because "he's so fussy about his clothes.”

When asked about her comments during The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere in New York City on Monday, April 20, Tucci told Taylen Biggs, who hosted PEOPLE's coverage of the event, that he agrees with Hathaway. He's "no question" the set's diva.

"I'm awful," Tucci, 65, jokes. "Just terrible."

Biggs, 12, reassures Tucci it's a "good thing" to be a diva, because it "means being confident," and Tucci agrees, "Yeah, I think you're right."

The pair reunite with Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt for the highly anticipated film. The sequel reportedly follows Streep's Miranda Priestly “as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and as she faces off against Blunt's character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs," according to Variety.

Tucci also sweetly supported his costar and her PEOPLE World's Most Beautiful cover.

"It's not so bad. She's pretty good looking," Tucci said, cheekily downplaying his reaction.

The same day as the new film's premiere, Hathaway graced the cover of PEOPLE's annual World's Most Beautiful issue and reacted to the cover with delight at the event.

“It was such a fun day,” the Oscar winner said at the premiere. She explained to Biggs that appearing on the cover "was not something I ever, ever, ever expected."

"It's still a little surreal," Hathaway added. "Today is the first day. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it — and I just expect people to tease me about it!"

Hathaway told PEOPLE in her World's Most Beautiful cover story that it was "beautiful" and "joyful" to return to the world of The Devil Wears Prada.

“Sometimes you're like, ‘I wish I could go back to that moment knowing what I know now,' " she said. "So for me, this was the chance to actually be with the same people again, step back into that world, but with a little bit more perspective.”

“I loved making the first,” Hathaway told PEOPLE of the beloved 2006 comedy. “I know I was stressed and anxious and all those things, but it's one of the most hilarious experiences ever because of the people I was with.”

She added, "Emily Blunt is such a dream of a human being. Stanley [Tucci] is so funny and quick, and Meryl [Streep], I don't talk about how much I revere her to her, but I do."

“She's someone I admire,” Hathaway continued of Streep, 76. “Someone who defines how it's done. Somebody who is just living greatness and never rests on that laurel but is always pushing herself to expand as an artist. She's unbelievable.”
